The Fanatic

Life for fifteen years old, Emmanuel Anthony Wayne, has just gotten interesting. For starters, he gets into an unexpected fistfight in front of family and friends. His ego takes a heavy blow and his pride is crushed as a result of the humiliating defeat. The fight is symbolic of his relationship with his mother, Eva; tumultuous and one sided. The fight does more than shake his self-confidence; it weakens his faith in God. Believing God has abandoned him, Emmanuel decides to return the favor by leaving his church and finding his place in the world. He ventures into a lane he's not use to. Will the allure of this new lifestyle keep Emmanuel stuck to the streets or will he return to his roots?
