A Defense of the Apostle Paul in Absentia

The difficult teachings of the Apostle Paul are largely responsible for the multitude of varying Christian denominations extant today. Is the Law of Moses done away by Christ’s death, or is the law established by grace? Are we saved by faith without works, or is it the doers of the law that “shall be justified?” The answers to these questions lie at the very heart of Christian theology.

Facing this difficulty in understanding Paul, many have labeled him a heretic while still others have referred to him as an antichrist! This book reconciles Paul’s various and difficult teachings such that there is no longer any confusion about either what he taught or whether it is consistent with the rest of the New Testament. In clearing up this confusion the book urges a dismissal of all charges against Paul of heresy, subversion, and antinomianism in regard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Finally, as the book reveals, there is consistency between the various writings of the Apostle Paul, and also between his writings and those of all other New Testament authors.
