Angel Ashamed

Clive Phoenix, a young angel assigned to Pearl Fortress, is often treated as an outsider among his fellow angels. He loathes his differences that cause only unwanted attention. After a demon attack on the fortress, Clive is haunted by horrifying hallucinations, hinting his existence comes with a dark secret. When he is assigned to protect a girl in Chicago named Noelle, Clive discovers that she is his first link to understanding his hallucinations. However, human contact is forbidden unless required for the mission. So Clive hides his friendship with Noelle knowing it would be viewed as the first step towards an evil transformation. Assisted by an unlikely ally, Clive learns of a location protected by both demons and archangels. Here, Clive finds out he is constantly being manipulated by demons, archangels and his own hallucinations. Every choice he makes either helps the demons, or uncovers a mystery his superiors have kept secret. No matter what Clive chooses, it could cost him everything.
