The Hollow Tree

The Hollow Tree is a short story about a special squirrel named Leafy, who struggles to make friends and relate to others. Unlike most squirrels, Leafy is green instead of brown; he has a long fur-less reddish tail, and very big eyes. However, he is a valiant, positive and athletic little animal. His unique features give him advantages and disadvantages, which he learns to appreciate after an experience of courage and love.
