That Which Lives Within - A Poetry Debut

"That Which Lives Within" is a full-length, debut poetry collection from the author eLPy. It includes a full-color section of poetry-infused images also taken and created by eLPy along with black and white photos scattered throughout. This being her public debut overall she immediately invites us into a journey of self-discovery and reflection, visions of the piece of the world she lives and That Which Lives Within it. The poems that result from her thoughts, experiences and emotions are non-traditional, free verse and some rhyming that reflect that what lives within us is unique and often has no form. Meanwhile the very ideas behind the poems themselves are things that live within us all. This collection of poetry takes us on a journey born from one individual yet is experienced in some form by us all, even if only in bits and pieces. At once we experience self-awareness and reflection, self-doubt and discovery, inspiration, bitter and beautiful truthes, pride, love, humility, gratitude, and the recognition that something always follows, among so many other things. "That Which Lives Within" is an opportunity for connection, with the author, with ourselves, and with the world at large that is made up so densely of all of these experiences. eLPy is but one person expressing the many sensations and thoughts that beg to be brought to life through "one medium, or another mild or hot".
