There is a time when you must change the direction of your prayer. If you have prayed to God for a specific period and no answer, you may have to ask the Most High God to deliver you from yourself. Yes, that is what a majority of us need, a deliverance from self. It is the time to forgive yourself. Many times we forgive others but do not forgive ourselves. Though we have declared that we have forgiven and forgotten yet we continue to beat ourselves up with the whip called, "regret." It has other names but the pain can be intense and hurtful. We are created to remember things, to have memory of the good and the bad that happened to us or our loved ones. What we did or what we should have done is always present in our minds.
There was the case of a man who ran to his Bishop and said he just saw Christ. The Bishop said, "Okay if you see him again ask what sins I have committed." The next day, the man ran back and said, "I have just seen our Lord, again." The Bishop wanted to know if he asked the question and he said yes. Then what did Jesus say? The man replied, "Jesus said He could not remember." At this, the Bishop said, "Yes, you have indeed seen our Lord."

Exodus 16:26 "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer."
