DREAM

This poem is talking to a little boy and a little girl. The words encourage the little children to look beyond what they have and what they can see right before them. It tells them that the things made by man are not nearly as important as the things made by "unseen hand."

Examples of earthly things are given, and they are compared to things beyond the material. Many earthly things come and go, but some things before the children are much, much longer lasting. The children are taught to look up, to lift their hopes and their eyes upward, to want to get the very best in terms of love, happiness, and peace.

Two picture of life are given. One is of the common, material things that some people constantly seek to obtain. The other picture is of family, friends, of high hopes and sights. The children are, also, taught to help their fellow man, to give him a lifting hand, to not forsake him. Such efforts are far more satisfying than what the world considers wealth.

Yes, the children are inspired to DREAM.
