A Burlesque Translation of Homer's Iliad

This is Homer’s Iliad set to bawdy verse by Thomas Bridges (1710-1775). It was originally published in 1762 under the pseudonym Caustic Barebones. This book gained in popularity, and was reprinted several times. This book contains all of the original woodcut illustrations.
