Baseball scout, Hank, returns to his hometown after decades of being away to witness the talents of Arnie Wedge, a high school pitcher with a hell of a fastball. Chadron, Nebraska has changed, but Hank finds nostalgia in conversations with old friends and the company of an unlikely companion.
