Talking To God

Throughout all of life today, a certain sound consumes us. When you quiet yourself and become still you hear it pierce the air. The sound that rings out is an all-points bulletin for prayers. Prayers are A.W.O.L. Prayers are missing in action. When prayers become missing in action, the enemy comes not to play, but to steal, maim, destroy and kill. The enemy has destroyed many souls and taken many more captive by sad situations and mundane scenarios of daily life. We must now "have a little talk with God." Let us bring our prisoners of war, the absent without leave, and the missing in action home. Let us help heal them, set them free, deliver them from evil, and make them whole once more. God needs us to get out in the battlefield. He needs our most effective fervent prayers.
