SEEING RED “Tribal Tribulation”

A new kind of serial killer is on the loose. News of a monster who preys on pregnant women catches the attention of spit-fire defense attorney, Molly Malone. The mutilated victims, white women involved with Native-American men, are found with a bloody red line drawn across their foreheads, an eagle feather in their throats, and their babies gruesomely removed. While the FBI are convinced the perpetrator is a deranged Native American, Molly and her new Lakota husband, Cree, are skeptical. Although Cree is proud of his successful, career-driven new wife, he worries about the effects of Molly’s stressful position on their marriage—and their unborn baby.

Molly’s close friend is murdered in a similar fashion and she finds herself commissioned to represent a suspect of the crime. Joseph Buffalo Horn, a rancher like Cree, is anything but an easy client, exploding in anger in the courtroom while voicing his distrust of whites. Molly knows Joe faces the death penalty, and as the trial continues, she becomes convinced the prosecution is withholding important information.

While Molly struggles to support Joe in a fight for his life, she discovers he may not be the only one in danger. As the trial wages on, sinister events continue to take place as Molly strives to make the prosecutors see reason. More than one life is on the line as the trial draws to a close—but have they caught the real killer?
