Oklahoma Is Where I live is an autobiographical collection of short stories, mostly nonfiction, from the author of the award-winning, visionary fiction novel, The Lhasa Trilogy.
Storytelling is an Oklahoma tradition, dating back to a Native American past. Like any true Okie, it is in Gary Conrad’s roots to tell his story — the ups, the downs, the in betweens.
