A WOMAN SCORNED

In October 2011, Michelle Gable travelled more than 2,000 miles from Maryland to Helena, Montana. It wasn't for a vacation - it was to confront her husband Joe, who had separated from her. On October 13th, Michelle found him and his new girlfriend, Sunday Bennett, sleeping together. As a Helena police dispatcher listened in astonishment, Sunday Bennett said over the phone, "This woman just shot her husband and is trying to shoot me." The next words out of Sunday's mouth were - "Don't you shoot me! Don't you dare!" The next thing the dispatcher heard was more gun shots. Then the line went dead. The case against Michelle Gable, however, was just beginning.
