Erica and Marcus Simmons have been married for 6 years and their union has been anything but blissful. As Erica plays tug of war with heart about her marriage Marcus does the unthinkable, he lost her in a poker game to the neighborhood boss, Rico. Erica comes to the conclusion that she has had enough. She is left to stay with her husband’s boss but no one is willing to tell her why. As Erica spends her time with Rico, she soon realizes that there is more to Rico’s story, which has her intrigued, but she can’t get past his secretive life. While Erica discovers the truth about her husband's past and Rico's present, she’s left to decide who she should forgive, a man she is hopelessly falling for or her husband who is willing to fight for their marriage.
