FAMILIARS

Thrust into a situation totally outside his experience a young British policeman arrives in 1913 Nairobi as the newest member of the British East Africa Police. This new fish finds himself not only out of the water but plopped directly into the frying pan. In a culture and land completely foreign to him, he must adjust some of his life-long attitudes to help Inspector Donnegan find the perpetrators of several deaths out in the bush. He will find that these perpetrators aren't what he's used to either, on several levels.
