WOLFE'S BURROW

Injured during a hunting trip, John Wolfe watches helplessly as World War III quickly comes and goes. Sickened and forever affected by pseudo-rabies, a biological agent used by the enemy to kill or neutralize the human population, he struggles to make his way home--only to find his family dead and the world gone mad. An inactive Marine, he puts his talents to use and begins organizing what survivors he can find to take on this world of feral animals and even more feral men, constantly driven to help those in need so that he might in some way compensate for his failure to be there when his family needed him most. As the community grows and he adopts a daughter, Wolfe begins to heal.

But then comes the greatest challenge of all: The General, a would be dictator who grinds all who oppose him beneath the iron heal of tyranny. Can even Wolfe hope to stand against this self-appointed "Military Genius" and his band of thugs?
