Journal of a Voyage to New South Wales with sixty-five plates of non descript
animals, birds, lizards, serpents, curious cones of trees and other natural
productions. John White made an 8 month journey to Australia along with 1500 people of which 778 were convict. White kept a journal where he made notes mostly of the birds in the colony. He sent Journal of a Voyage to New South Wales along with 65 engravings of the natural history of the colony to a friend, Thomas Wilson, in London. His book was a big success.
