The Sweethearts: Equality and Respect

The Sweethearts: Equality and Respect is the story of an all Black Women's Fast Pitch Softball Team in the 50's and 60"s. It is the story of their struggles and triumphs as they fast-pitched their way to respect and equality in the racial climate of those days and how they dealt with the personal as well as political issues of the times while continuing to strive for perfection in the game they all loved so much.
