From Tabloids to Apocalypse: Christianized Myths in a Doomed Modern World

American culture is far more likely to believe in the Christianized myths of Christmas and Easter than in the Scriptures, simply because no one has ever shown them differently. We're more likely to accept fictional "pictures" of God, Christ, angels, and Satan than to look for their descriptions in the Bible. We picture Heaven and Hell in terms of popular mythology, rather than in Biblical terms. We expect the tabloids to keep us informed about the Four Horsemen, 666, the AntiChrist, and the End of the World. This works sets out to discover what the Word of God actually says about each.
