DADDY-CATCH!

Jesus often taught in parables – stories communicated by Jesus to portray the love of God, His gracious acts of mercy, and how human life can thrive within the will of the loving Heavenly Father. Daddy--Catch! is based upon twenty eight modern-day stories (some real, some fictionalized accounts of real-life events) which portray the Christian narrative of God’s original intention for His human creation in a perfect world, humanity’s initial calamitous fall into a life of sin and some of the ways destructive living manifests itself presently. The journey continues in today’s twenty-first century high-tech life that doesn’t see the need for God but shows God’s determination to redeem His beloved humanity. By using what He’s got, imperfect humans, to accomplish His will, we can again experience the qualities of life God had originally intended that we should enjoy. Each parable includes a Christian-based explanation to the story presented and questions to encourage personal or group reflections.


In the end, we find that the tree of life, with its healing leaves and nourishing fruits that was forbidden to us at the beginning, is now ours to share.
