Going Home: A Native American Historical Romance

For all the years Shanoah was forced to attend a harsh boarding school run by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, she clung to the idea of going home to her Cherokee family and her native roots. She wants nothing to do with white people and struggles to remember the language she is not allowed to speak.

As a teen, she becomes focused solely on escaping at the next opportunity, leaving her unprepared for winter survival on her journey home, a mistake that nearly kills her.
