Intersection of Reconciliation

At the Foot of the Cross, is where I laid my burdens down. It took many years to arrive at that destination. I was humbled, broken down and ashamed when I found myself there. All of my pride, self worth and self-interested arrogance delivered me there, just as sure as the Pony Express had been glamorized for it's grueling ability to deliver.

One thing that is a truth or natural law, which I have always observed in this world, is the definition of dichotomy. That is to say if there is an up there also is a down, a black for a white, a forward motion for a reverse. I asked myself, 'Now that I have cast off my self- loathing and self- hatred, what replaces this nature of me, or how do I realize a me I could love and be thankful for knowing?'
