God Works

God works because God works! That’s how God rolls. Yet, we live in a broken and fractured world. It’s our fault, and we know it, but God is working on us—never giving up! Bit by bit, season by season, year after year, month after month, week after week, day after day, hour by hour, minute by minute, moment by moment, we are the ones who are the affection of the God who never sleeps nor slumbers. Some seem to get that better than others. But, as God’s kingdom comes and as God’s will is done, and like the great time-keeper God is, and like the master of mosaics he is transforming all of us into the useful thing of beauty—the image of Jesus himself, which we are intended to be!
