With a degree in education from the University of Mississippi, Patsy has taught second grade at Christ Methodist Day School in Memphis, Tennessee, and Class One at Providence Christian School in Dallas, Texas. Serving in Bible Study Fellowship International and Precept Ministries for twenty-four years has enriched her love for God’s Word. Her desire is to help children experience the Father’s love, the Shepherd’s care, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance. She believes that helping children prepare a strong spiritual foundation will equip them to live victoriously and abundantly, while affecting others for God’s kingdom. She lives in Dallas near her two beloved daughters and sons in law, and six energetic, talented grandchildren. Believing in the value and blessing of prayer, she currently writes a letter for grandparents to use in praying for their grandchildren. Her prayer is that this book will reap eternal benefits and bless all who read it.


Angela Elledge began her artistic career with a BA in Advertising Design from the University of Louisiana. After becoming a mother, Angela became a sought-after art teacher; she has been shaping the creative talents of students for more than 22 years, the last of which have been focused on inner-city children at West Dallas Community School. Angela is known for her beautiful impressionistic pet portraits; aiming to paint each pet with the love that is shared between the owner and their beloved friend. Angela is an accomplished plein air artist; she delights in the challenge of painting in the middle of a rural field or quiet city spot, capturing a moment in time. An artist, wife, mother, and friend to many, Angela extends her talents to the work she does with a ministry that provides crocheted items to various charities. Originally from Southwest Louisiana, she now calls Texas home.
