Green Affections is a childhood story with a particular gender perspective, for the narrator is a girl, Sonia Amalia, called Amazonia. When narrating, the girl recreates the story making it into fiction, since memory is not only what we remember but what we believe we remember. Her own life is the material from where she builds the novel.
