Teaching Miss Maisie Jane

Jake Maddox is an Arizona territory lawman whose moral compass has been bent too many times. He is ready to retire from the law, become a homesteader and find a wife. He has got his mind set on how a wife should and should not behave. He has a quick temper, doesn't like sass, and his words will be heeded, or someone is going pay with a spanked bottom.

Maisie Jane Jackson is an eastern genteel belle, too young, too spoiled and too stubborn to know what is good for her. In a fit of temper, she winds up on the wrong side of a whorehouse-owning hanging judge and she needs a rescuer. When these two collide there is not much doubt about who will win the battle of wills.
