The Long Trip Home

The only thing Jana Beck and Smith Daniels was their employment by the same sporting goods company. When that company begins to feel the pinch of a depressed economy, upper management decides that the sooner a team goes out there and soothes their customers, the better-especially if the team could also bag a few new vendors to sell their products as well. When Jana and Smith are hand-picked, Jana is doubtful. Sure, she's attracted to Smith Daniels, but she had no desire to be another notch in his company notch. Smith, on the other hand, was thrilled...he'd had his eye on Jana for several months, and this trip--three weeks, seven cities, and a lot of time working together, was exactly the in he needed to break through her tough-as-nails exterior.

When a pre-trip worknight becomes an impetuous, passionate round of lovemaking, both Jana and Smith find themselves a little vulnerable and shaken up. Smith goes back to his flirty, commitment-free ways, and Jana reverts even further into herself. An unexpected trip to the doctor changes everything for Jana, and her biggest question then is how to hide this from Smith until she is ready to divulge the info--just as soon as she got home from their trip.
