The Honorable Cody

In his day, Buffalo Bill Cody was the best-known person alive, celebrated as a great scout and showman. Some of the players, such as Annie Oakley, loved and honored the great scout, but others saw the legendary Cody as nothing more than a cash cow. There were schemers who thought the old showman ought to be exploited dead or alive, and they set out to possess the rights to everything Cody owned, including his name. And through it all, the old showman emerged as a better man than those who were manipulating his reputation.
