Petrol Pumps of Ireland

These photographs have been taken on twenty years, from 1985 to 2005, mostly in the western counties of Ireland. Most of these petrol pumps are gone now. They witness of a time, before Ireland became rich, where derelict objects could innocently be left along the roads.

This book is also somehow an ethnological document as it shows typical casual architecture far from pictures to attract tourists.
