Mary of Bethany

This Mary was the sister of Lazarus and Martha. The Apostles spent some 3 1/2 years with the Lord Jesus yet did not understand his frequent statements about his death and resurrection. Mary was the only one who understood and prepared for it. She anointed his body for his burial. The Lord Jesus said that wherever the Gospel would be preached, what Mary did to anoint him would also be taught as a memorial to her.


This book is a memorial to her for her understanding of what Jesus taught, and for her anointing of Jesus for his crucifixion and burial. May this book give back to Mary some of the praise she has deserved. May it be a blessing to all who read it.
