The Double Lie Murder: with the Seven Senior Sleuths

The Double Lie Murder is a story about the early morning murder of a seemingly innocent housewife without any apparent motive. Her husband is a strange, secretive man who immediately becomes suspect. Seven of her friends decide he isn't guilty even though much of the evidence points to him. They try to defend him and in the course of the investigation they begin to undercover clues that the police have missed. They meet his family at the funeral and form very strong opinions about them. His family try to maintain a low profile but have believed two lies that when discovered reveal the culprit.
