The Surviver Effect

Left for dead, Alex Libertine slowly begins to recover. The emotional trauma has left her despondent until she sees a young woman on the evening news, who has escaped with her daughter from polygamist enslavement, tell her own tale of survival. After meeting with the woman, they embark on a journey of paying forward the safe harbor in their own vulnerability with other survivors and as their lives intertwine they find strength and inspiration in each other and discover that somehow it can be possible to rise from the most agonizing pit of despair to create beauty and hope.
