Seth is an anti-gay politician supporting America's right to put Gays in internment camps. Tobin, his lover, wants an honest, but public relationship.

America, 2037. In public Congressman Seth Grayson fronts the Christian right wing against the rising tide of alternate life-stylers while in private he hides his relationship with live-in lover, Tobin. One day the two worlds collide with catastrophic results.

Excerpt:

It was a balmy fall day in Butters, Minnesota, in the year 2037. A bill that would finally grant equal rights to all members of alternative life styles was about to be signed into law. Transsexuals, gays, and all kinds of kinky people were no longer going to be judged by those with a religious mind set. Everyone was going to be guaranteed protection under the law. A series of in-house scandals had weakened the religious base and now was the time to push the bill through.

Many people saw the passage of the bill as the first step toward making ‘normal’ god-fearing heterosexuals the new minority. It was a call to arms for the christian right. Breeders, long time enemies of the gay culture were divided. Many of the breeders could lay claim to both ideals. Some were religious while some harbored a secret unconventional side. They were not to be trusted in the upcoming conflict.

Meanwhile across the ocean suspected terrorists had just set off a series of bombs at an airport in the Netherlands. Among the survivors of the attacks were a homophobic Congressman and an escort…and the beginning of an implausible but powerful romantic union.

Seth Grayson loved traveling abroad, especially to the Netherlands. Unless his arrival was loudly announced, the local press left him alone. No one cared who he was outside of Roanoke, Virginia. He traveled because he liked being just another American Joe hitting the gay flesh pots of Europe. He was the most outspoken, oversexed, anti- gay legislator that Washington had ever had in the House of Representatives. When he traveled he wore his best business suit. The rest of the time he wore leather jeans, and a leather vest. The white tank top was innocent enough even if the Congressman was not. He was the majority whip of his party and the darling of the Christian right.

He looked anxiously at his watch. His flight back to Washington had been delayed yet again. He hated leaving Amsterdam the night before a crucial vote but he couldn’t bring himself to leave the back room bars any earlier. He was a risk taker. Years earlier when he got into politics, he knew he would have to make sacrifices but he had to be present when duty called. The country had gone to hell in a hand basket as far as he was concerned. His father had been a well known evangelist who had enlisted his son’s aid in the holy war against ‘evil- doers’ and sodomites.

Seth was tall dark and handsome with matinee idol looks and loaded with charm and appeal. During his first bid for city council, he dated Arlene Van DeCamp, the local librarian. Everyone thought they would marry. Their promise to remain pure for their wedding day was the perfect cover for Arlene’s lesbianism and Seth’s desire for dominating other men. Arlene’s cancer galvanized the public as they watched Seth struggle with her illness and then her death. His story had gone global. After the death of his childhood sweetheart he could not bear the touch or the company of other women. There was some truth in that.
