Paper Doll

Fresh out of rehab, Lucie leaves her messy city apartment to escape her cravings
in the obscure beach town of Cape Tutuni. Desperate for change and emotional
support, Lucie latches on immediately to Philip, a compulsive gambler reeling from the unexplained death of his younger sister whose corpse was found mauled and naked in the nearby forest. To sustain her new small town lifestyle and pay for her bleak motel room, Lucie takes a job as a temporary housekeeper for Cape Tutuni’s wealthy and eccentric recluse, Wesley Cross.

Within hours of arriving in town, rumors of a strange and monstrous predator quickly catches Lucie’s attention. Philip’s sister was in no way an isolated incident,
as a long buried history of similar grotesque deaths is exposed. And Lucie soon learns that her lecherous new employer is the only person who might know who
or what killed so many young women out in the dark and damp Northwest forest.
In a new town where nobody is quite what they seem, Lucie must find meaning
and truth without relapsing and becoming the monster she once was.
