Love at Stake

By accepting responsibility for a crime committed in ignorance, Elena's life is upheaved from middle-class, comfortable, and soon-to-be-nuptial, and thrown headfirst into the rules of a minimum-security prison camp. But some rules are bendable, and some are worth breaking, for the sake of love that refuses to be apart. Opposition inspires ingenuity, after all, and Elena's twin Cecile is up for the challenge. Sometimes, one good scheme can heal more than just the one that it was meant to help, and while brief freedom will bolster Elena's slipping grasp on happiness and remind her of the future that won't give up for her wait, prison might just open Cecile's eyes and make her seize her future in her own two hands.
