The New Home

Have you ever given any thought to how the people here on Earth are ruining the environment? It seems as if all the people want is instant gratification with no thought to the future. I look at cities and see whole shopping centers that are sitting empty and becoming run down and turning into places where gangs write graffiti all over the walls. After a while new developments become slums and the builders go further out to build new homes and shopping centers. In a lot of cities the whole downtown areas are slums with winos sitting in the alleys drinking wine when they can get it. There are parts of most cities that even the cops don’t want to go there after dark. The sad thing is that the deserted shopping centers could be renovated and used instead of building new ones. More and more of the natural habitat for animals is being destroyed to build new soon to be slums. People never give a thought to where the animals can go or how they will be able to live when their homes are destroyed. When a whole world is wrapped up in greed, selfishness, unconcern, and indifference while the whole world is being desecrated then it seems likely that eventually that world will die. This book is about just such a situation.
