Dr. Homer Wanaby, Professor of Sociology, hates his job; he’s tired of snotty kids and emotionally constipated administrators. Often, he dreams of leading a life of adventure and danger. Most of all, Wanaby wants to be a private detective in Los Angeles. His hero is Lance Cannon, private eye extraordinaire. When he receives D.U.N.C.E. in the mail and follows the special instructions, his wish comes true. He’s now Joe Granite, private eye.
Joe becomes involved with a mysterious starlet, Karla del Marco. When Karla wins the leading role in the movie, “The Lost Kingdom of Prester John”, Joe becomes her body guard. But during the filming of the movie on location in Persia, strange paranormal events happen in the lost city of Dantalar, a place not of this earth, east of the sun and west of the moon. Is it a power center for a worm hole? Were the alien Shandara the procreators of humans?
Joe and Karla drink Hamora and touch the Tree of Life and become immortal. Joe loses all sense of reality. Is the lost kingdom real or is he dreaming? Everything goes terribly wrong for Joe. His life becomes a freaking nightmare! He longs for his previous life, but will D.U.N.C.E. let him?
