Stabbing in the Sugar Shack

Kitty is recovering from the shock of the murder of her no-good husband and making big plans for Fat Hen Farm. She’s decided to expand to maple syrup production and offer a pancake breakfast to kick off the season. She even has help land on her doorstep when her old friend, Aaron, comes home with his friend, Corey.

But when Corey’s husband shows up and threatens both Corey and Kitty, they know they have to do something to keep their distance from him. Their problem seems to take care of itself when he gets stabbed in Kitty’s sugar shack.

Now, Kitty and Corey either have to join ranks to figure out who committed murder right under their nose, or go along with the confession of Kitty’s clearly-innocent neighbor, Sam. Will Sam end up taking the fall for something everyone knows he couldn’t have done? Will Corey get Kitty dragged into a bigger mess than even she knew? Or will they be able to find the real killer before he strikes again?
