Overview of Part 2:
Ciara Blakeshore has to return to New York City for a memorial. But Gunnar Davenport, her new love, does not want her to go. He’s afraid she might not return to Taribou Island, a Caribbean paradise near Turks and Caicos – especially if she has a chance to legally reclaim her old company, Diamond Public Relations.
But Ciara is going back to Manhattan for more than one reason; she has to find out what happened to Lee Matheson. Once her business partner, friend, and lover, Lee was the man who was supposed to be her husband – before he lost himself in a dark world.
Something wasn’t adding up. She and Lee had known each other since they were children, and something inside of her told her the old Lee, the one she knew and loved before he spiraled downward, was not dead.

“Can I speak with a Mr. Davenport,” Ciara teased, purring into the phone.
“Who may I ask is calling?” Gunnar played along.
“You know it’s me, silly,” she laughed.
“I know, baby,” he said. “Everything okay at your place?”
“Yes, everything’s in order. I just got in, made a couple of quick calls, showered and dialed you.”
“You saved me for last, I see,” he teased.
“Yes, I did. Because the last thing I wanted to hear was your sexy voice before I drifted off to sleep.”
“I miss you already,” Gunnar said. “I know you’re handling business, but I need you in my arms, in my bed. I need your lips on my chest, your nipples, your tender flesh, in my mouth.”
Ciara knew what he meant. Gunnar enjoyed nipping at the hot tenderness between her legs as much as she enjoyed him being down there.
“And I my miss my body inside of yours,” he said.
Ciara stirred. “Are you trying to get me all hot and bothered on purpose, Mr. Davenport?” she asked.
“No, baby. I’m just being honest with you. You drive me crazy. My body is full, and it’s calling you right now.”
Ciara could picture the rigid tree between Gunnar’s legs … hard and throbbing, eager to search the depths of her wet cavern.
“Well you’re making me squirm up here and I can’t do a thing about it with you all the way down there.”
“I want you to make love to me tonight when we hang up,” Gunnar said. “I’ll be making love to you,” he said in a husky voice.
“I will,” she said, the hot petals between her legs growing moist as she spoke. Ciara let one of her hands graze her hardening nipples.
“I miss you, Gunnar,” she said in a soft, sensual voice, unable to ignore the wild thumping under her hairy mound.
“I know,” Gunnar said. “She could tell by his breathing he was stroking his manhood with his wide, rigid palms.”
“But I will be back soon, in two, maybe three weeks,” she said, depending on how things go here.”
That’s what worries me, Gunnar thought to himself. He prayed she would come back, no matter what. He prayed she’d come back and make a life with him on the island.
They talked a little while longer before saying goodnight and crawling into bed, making sweet love to each other, even though fifteen hundred miles lay between them.
