God Set the Sails

Joseph spent a lot of his time daydreaming about becoming a sailer. He did --even a sea captain--but God had even greater plans for him.

This is the story of Joseph Bates, Captain Joseph Bates, who allowed God to set the sails of his life for him. As a sea captain, though having had many thrilling adventures at sea, he would have been forgotten; yet when God took charge of his life, he became a great man, remembered in Adventist history as being a trailblazer for God.
