"These Awful Crimes"

What if you could go back in time and right an obvious wrong? Connor Harrison and Andrea Nicholson are presented with just such an opportunity when they find themselves in 1904 as defense counsel for two men who are innocent of the crimes of rape and murder in Eastern North Carolina. The problem which faces them is that the accused men are black and the victim is white.
This presents an explosive reaction in a small town in the rural South. Can they find enough evidence to show that the two men are not guilty of the crimes and discover just who the guilty parties are?
