An Atlantean King, Cadiz, of the city which bears his name in Iberia meets Otonia the daughter of the king of Athens at the Minoan palace at Knossos. They fall in love but King Erechtheus is worried about the Assyrians who have attacked everyone within a thousand mile radius. The Assyrians have been rumored to have new and innovative weapons; weapons which will give these aggressive and bellicose conquerors a decided advantage. To become a suitor for Otonia Cadiz must go to Asia and spy on these ultra-paranoid Assyrians. Even with Hercules by his side plans go awry. War is looming and with the giant comet is on its way the murder of humans for blood sacrifices have people worried. The story is based, for the most part, on ancient legends, primarily Greek. At the end I have a Notes for the Reader II to give historical aspects you may not be familiar with; such as the southwestern European DNA in the native Americans introduced 3,000 years ago or the TABACCO & COCAINE used in the ancient Egyptian mummification process.
