After his neighbor is murdered, Calum MacKendrick’s attorney asks him to fetch the dead man's ex-wife from Dallas for the reading of the will. One look at Grace and Calum is hooked. But after leaving her abusive husband, Grace doesn’t trust men. Grace’s father shows up and causes trouble, and then someone breaks into his neighbor's condo, where Grace is staying. Knowing the intruder could be his neighbor’s killer, Calum does his best to protect Grace and her father.
