Her life gradually and tragically descended into darkness but was remarkably repaired and restored to a person of beauty by growth and faith...a story of inspiration for others who struggle daily with diseases and addiction.
In her recovery from over 20 physical diseases and conditions, she shares her victory over chronic diseases. She counts cancer, PTSD and alcoholism among these conditions. Forty-two years of continuous sobriety and forty years of abstinence from tobacco products, and thirty years recovery from breast cancer attest to her tenacity in her battle for life, health and freedom from pain. This year she created a group for others like herself in this struggle, called Managing Multiple Chronic Conditions, and facilitates an online chat group.
