The Path of a Lifetime

This story is one of turmoil and conflicts from which the main character Carla, acquires a sense of determination and accomplishments through a series of good and bad events that seem to follow her throughout her entire journey. Her married years having left her with low self- esteem, she is determined to make it in the working world and she sets out to prove it. But, will she succeed? Unlike the treatment suffered from her husband, men around her treat her with dignity and respect. Her dazzling beauty leaves them breathless with a yearning to want to protect and watch over her, but her past experiences have left her untrustworthy and her passing love encounters prove her right. She is constantly struggling with the continuous downfalls in her personal life of which she emerges with a gain of strength and perseverance. When, finally she seems to have found peace of mind, the following thoughts keep haunting her. What will happen to her youngest son Norman? And what will be the outcome of her oldest son Kevin, on his latest heartbreaking decision?
