Angels Amok

Gage Anderson is a college athlete who is also an honors student. He is a good looking guy that for some reason has always had trouble with women. Whenever, he meets a girl the strangest and most bizarre circumstances occur. It is almost like a little gremlin of dating bad luck follows him around with a magic wand of romantic disaster. Gage and his roommate William are thrown into a battle of what at first appears to be supernatural forces. They rise to the occasion and stand up against those who wish to end the human race. Gage is visited and aided by Marian a magical woman that claims to be his guardian angel. She grants him enormous powers and he accompanies her on a hunt to eliminate the forces of darkness. She says that he is now the chosen champion of the light. Even with her powers and her claim to be an angel Gage can see some very human-like flaws in her. She is wonderful, beautiful, and nice, but not truly angelic in her nature. She can also be moody, jealous, and even totally bewildering at times

Marian is a guardian angel. Once human, she now spends her hours protecting the mortals of Earth. Given an important task by her superiors, she is to choose a person to act as a champion of the light. This person will be granted powers to battle the forces of darkness in the name of the almighty. However, as her choice she wishes to pick a mortal man who she has inappropriate feelings for, Gage Anderson. Angels are not supposed to feels longing and lust. But, she does harbor these feelings for this man she has been assigned to watch over. She has even meddled in his life beyond the bounds listed in the angel's handbook. She has even gone as far as ruining potential relationships that the man was starting to become involved in. She had rationalized that her interference was for the good of the man, but she knew that it was because she desired him for herself. While in the process of making her decision about the champion of the light she discovers the truth of her existence. Marian is not a true angel, but a creation of an alien race that is gambling with the fate of the earth. The technologically advanced aliens copied the memories of the woman she had once been and made her into an angel-like creation. The revelation of this makes her faith waver for a bit. Whether she is a real angel or a cyborg-angel, she decides to act as if she was a real angel in an effort to save the human race as humanity's existence depends on the outcome of a strange extraterrestrial reality show using the entire earth as its stage.

Eddie is a Detroit city police officer who starts to track the person who abducted his niece Latisha. As he investigates he comes to the realization that she has been taken by what he thought was just an urban legend called the Knock- Knock Man. Eddie vows to bring whoever or whatever abducted his niece to justice. Eddie survives an encounter with the Toad. The horrific encounter shakes Eddie up, but he still is determined to bring down the thing that took his niece. Eddie owed so much to his older sister. She was like a mother to him. Now was the time to pay her back for all the kindness she has shown him. He would find his niece dead or alive and then end the life of her abductor whether he is a man or monster.
