None So Blind

Corinna, an out-of-work postdoc, realizes an escaped genetically modified organism threatens the whole world's oxygen supply, but she can't get anyone to see the looming disaster. The only ones paying attention are the people who caused the problem and they try to kill her and her lover before anyone else notices. The conflict leads through labs and swamps, kidnapping and attempts to mire them in the legal system. While facing all this trouble, there's also conflict between them when it turns out that assumptions can be wrong.
