Hymns for the Harvest

We sing hymns with passion and joy, as an outgrowth of our personal relationship with the God of the universe. We carry them in our hearts and minds and teach them to our children. We may add in other songs of praise, but we return often to the time-tested anthems as a theological anchor, rich in truth and glorious in their reverence of the Almighty. King David’s proclamation to “Sing to the Lord a new song . . . ” (Psalm 96:1) is a most suitable response to our Heavenly Father, whose mercies to His beloved are new every day. The hymns in this book are new songs, in a variety of musical styles, for both personal and corporate worship of our Lord.
