The Wishing Well

When fourteen-year old Lewis meets a grim gnome at the creek, he learns that an ancient wishing well in the woods will grant wishes. The grim gnome told him that there were rules to making wishes that seemed kind of confusing, Three people, two friends, one not could make wishes, one for oneself and one for each of the others. Since one of them was not a friend, they each worried what the other person would wish for them. Then things started happening, and soon their lives were turned up-side down.
