Love in the Springtime

Betsy, a strong-willed teen, becomes pregnant as a result of an assault by a most unsuspecting person, but is evicted from the family home by a very pious father. Alone and very apprehensive, she embraces the memory of her deceased grandfather for courage and wisdom.
Fate brings her together with a family that befriends her and a community that brings new challenges. Her Christian character, the integrity instilled in her by her grandfather, and her refusal to harbor a grudge carry her through the difficult times.
Almost by accident, she embarks on a very lucrative career that opens up an exciting new world but again introduces new difficulties. The resulting innuendo, being a single mother and her rapid success causes her to mature very quickly.
This dramatic finale is both hilarious and heart rending. It will bring tears your eyes in one event and leaving them laughing in the next.
